Simon Blake

Simon Blake OBE has been Chief Executive of Stonewall since September 2024. He led the development of their new strategy 'In courage and unity, is hope' which includes their new workplace programme 'Proud Employers'. Prior to Stonewall he was Chief Executive of a number of social purpose organisations: the social enterprise, Mental Health First Aid England, the National Union of Students Group, and the young people's sexual health charity, Brook.

Simon is a Board Director of Mental Health First Aid International and Deputy Chair of the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. He has previously had trustee roles including Chair of Diversity Role Models, vice chair of the Black Health Agency and deputy chair of Stonewall. Simon is a companion of the Chartered Management Institute and he was awarded an OBE for services to young people and the voluntary sector in 2011.

Simon is a dog and horse enthusiast and he is an amateur eventer.
