Inclusion Is Changing – So Are We: Introducing the FAIRER Framework

Driving inclusion, fairness, and meaningful culture change in an increasingly complex business environment requires more than intention – it demands a structured, evidence-based approach.

At FAIRER, our work is grounded in the interconnected research of human psychology, behavioural change, and culture analysis. We have developed an integrated cultural and inclusion framework designed to help organisations identify where to focus their efforts – and how to move from good to truly impactful.

Our framework is built around five key measurement areas:

  1. Leadership: Focuses on the values, mindsets, attitudes, behaviours, and decisions of organisational leaders in shaping inclusive workplace cultures.

  2. Culture: Explores the hidden and often unspoken norms, rules, and expectations that influence inclusion – covering areas such as teaming, cohesion, and respect for diverse perspectives.

  3. Wellbeing: Examines levels of psychological safety, employee voice, belonging, and care, as well as how wellbeing initiatives are aligned with and embedded into broader inclusion strategies.

  4. Trust: Centres on the psychology of trust-building, including openness, empowerment, collaboration, and the strength of team dynamics.

  5. Fairness: Assesses perceptions of fairness in decision-making across the employee lifecycle – from hiring and allocation of opportunities to progression and promotion.

Together, these five areas provide a comprehensive, practical lens through which organisations can understand their current culture and take targeted action to create lasting change.
