Join us as we explore the nature of sexual harassment in the workplace, discussing what it is, its associated behaviours and common misunderstandings, which can be blockers to effective preventative measures.

This webinar, hosted by DE&I Consultant Barry Boffy, will leverage cases studies and real-life high-profile cases to bust myths and clarify misunderstandings around sexual harassment. Employers will learn how to navigate the issue, taking cultural and global nuances into account, while exploring ways to create a zero-tolerance culture towards sexual harassment at work.

This session will not focus on any particular sex, sexual orientation or gender in relation to sexual harassment, avoiding calling out any particular victim profiles. Instead, we will focus on the behaviours and concepts of sexual harassment, delving into why employers should make the shift from being reactive to proactively planning and preventing sexual harassment in the workplace.

Agenda & Learning Outcomes

The session will cover each of the following:

1
What is sexual harassment, and what is it not?
2
What’s the difference between harassment, sexual harassment and sexual assault?
3
In which environments is sexual harassment more common?
4
Practical tips for employers to address and prevent sexual harassment at work
