Charis Baines (she/her) is the Global ERG & Inclusion Manager at Imperial Brands, a FTSE 30 company with over 20,000 employees operating across 120 markets. In her role, Charis partners with Employee Resource Group (ERG) leads from around the world to bring their initiatives to life; ensuring their work is both meaningful and aligned with Imperial’s global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) strategy.
Before transitioning into the DEI space Charis built a 15-year career in communications, working across a range of organisations from global corporations to agile start-ups. When she’s not championing inclusion at work, she can often be found volunteering with a local cat charity... writing social media posts one minute and transporting rescued cats the next.
